The Winner is Penrith!

The Board of Directors of the International Canoe Federation has chosen Paddle Australia and Penrith, NSW, Australia as hosts for the 2025 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships.

25 years on from the spectacular Sydney Olympic Games, Penrith will once again welcome the world!

When and where

The 2025 ICF Canoe Slalom World Championships will take place at the Penrith Whitewater Stadium from 1-6 October 2025.

In preparation for the 2025 world championships, Paddle Australia will host a number of “Runway to Penrith” events commencing with two signature international events in 2022:

Paddle in Penrith

Along the way, our goal is to get more people paddling, more often on the beautiful Penrith waterways: the Nepean River, Penrith Lakes and of course on the rapids at Penrith Whitewater.
